7 days!

February 25th, 2008

Quick update, we only have 1 week to go before we go to Tokyo.

Video Camera

January 24th, 2008

Eddie got the new video camera yesterday so I made this short video of us just driving through town to see how good the quality was and how easy it would be to get a video on the site. I was going to use Youtube for all our videos but seeing as youtube makes the video quality shite, stage6.com done the job.

The music is Radiohead - Nude, its also the music to the new Skins season 2 advert.

Packing

January 21st, 2008

So we have started getting some things together for Tokyo, things we don’t want to buy when we arrive, as you can see in the picture.

Eddie is getting a new video camera in a few days and we will make the first Video test post. Its only going to be a Youtube link but we still need to see how bad youtube rapes the quality of the video.

fiber-to-the-home

January 13th, 2008

94% of Japanese households have access to basic broadband. For just $10, people have internet speeds greater than 1.5 mbps downstream, 500 kbps upstream. 80% of Japanese households have access to “super high speed” fiber-to-the-home networks, defined as greater than 30 mbps down, 10 mbps up. These networks can deliver up to 100 mbps, and cost $35-40/month.

So thats about £20 a month for 100mbps, where do I sign? ;)
